Ivy是來自紐約的一個樂隊，成隊於1994年。
主唱Dominique Durand是一個巴黎女孩。
在紐約學習英文的時候結識了樂隊的兩個創始人Andy Chase和Adam Schlesinger。
因為有共同的音樂品位，他們開始準備成立這一組合。而在此之前，Durand從來沒有唱過歌。
在同伴的鼓勵下，她唱了樂隊第一個小樣"Can』t Even Fake It"。結果當然是令人吃驚的，她的樂感相當出色。
於是IVY就這樣誕生了。
Ivy的音樂是以Durand的聲線為主軸，各種樂器如眾星拱月般襯托出她冷冽卻帶著笑意的迷人嗓音。
不只是吉他，就連bass和套鼓聽來都輕巧明亮又極具個性，每個環節都像指紋般鮮明
